Rear hitch

I wanted to take my jet skis camping but do not have another vehicle to tow with. I made my own hitch. I then had to build a drop stinger since I flipped the axles on my trailer. The total wt of the jet skis, fuel, and trailer is about 1500 lbs.

I had no way to lock the handle on the hitch and no place to connect my breakaway cable. Here is my fix.

Compressor for air bags.

After asking several unsuccessful attempts to get pictures of compressor installs from one of the truck forums, I decided to see what I could come up with. Here are pictures of the install. The compressor is installed in the plastic tray behind the passenger seat and the hoses are run through a rubber plug under the rear seat. The hoses and wires to the gauges are run under the kickplate to under the dash.

Anniversary camping trip

We went to Lake Somerville for our 30th wedding anniversary. We told the kids they had to stay home. We just went up there to relax and read. Ha d a great time. This was the first trip with our trailer.
